Paul Hodgson joined the Senior Management Team as Associate Director (Business Development) in January, 2006.

Prior to joining VIDO, Dr. Hodgson was Project Manager for a $27 million Genome Prairie project aimed at discovering novel ways to protect mammals against infectious disease.

He also spent several years working with Newfound Genomics Inc., a clinical genomics company based in Newfoundland, as a business development analyst.

Dr. Hodgson received an M.Sc. in Pharmacology from Dalhousie University, a PhD in Immunology from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MBA specializing in Technology Commercialization from the University of Alberta.
