RESEARCH FUNDING

Research at VIDO-InterVac is funded by a diverse group of public and private organizations:

  • Charitable foundations
  • Research granting agencies
  • Federal and Provincial governments
  • Livestock industry councils and agencies
  • Industry partners in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT

The University of Saskatchewan provides considerable support in the form of infrastructure services, financial and administrative functions.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT WITHIN VIDO-INTERVAC

VIDO-InterVac is committed to transparent and responsible financial management.

  • Research teams work closely with the Financial Services team to prepare budgets for each research project
  • Financial Services monitor expenditures to ensure acquisitions are cost-effective and timely
  • Researchers have real-time access to financial reports for their projects.
  • The Board of Directors review and advise on financial matters, and approve annual comprehensive financial reports of VIDO-InterVac.
