Current Opportunities

The Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization at the University of Saskatchewan is a world-renowned research institute dedicated to the prevention of infectious disease. Its current research activities are focused on multidisciplinary approaches to the control of infectious diseases in animals and humans through the development of novel vaccines and therapeutics. The approaching completion of the containment Level 3 International Vaccine Center (InterVac) will provide unique research and training opportunities and will enable contact with international scientists who come to use this world-class facility.

The Organization provides a stimulating collaborative environment in a variety of disciplines, including molecular microbiology, virology, cell biology, immunology, genomics and proteomics, and clinical research.  The successful candidate will be expected to work in a team-based research environment.
