Biography

Amanda is originally from Prince Albert Saskatchewan.  She completed her BSc Honors degree in Microbiology and Immunology with a minor in Forensic Anthropology and Archeology at the University of Saskatchewan. 

Currently, Amanda is working on her PhD with Drs. Wolfgang Koster and Andrew Potter on the Salmonella research project. 

Amanda has an active interest in outreach work. An experienced tour guide, Amanda commits time to providing tours for schools and the general public at VIDO-InterVac and the Canadian Light Source.
