Biography

Claudia joined VIDO in 2006 as a post-doctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Koester. Her projects involve identifying new targets for the development of invention strategies to decrease the levels of Salmonella in poultry.

Prior to joining VIDO, Claudia worked as a Professor at Federal University of Goias and did a Post-Doctoral fellowship at the Ohio State University. She brings expertise in molecular epidemiology and virology to the Bacterial Vaccine Development group.
