Biography

Emil completed both his BSc and MSc in Sofia State University in Bulgaria, then completed his PhD in Genetics at the Russian Academy of Science in Moscow. Emil joined VIDO in 2006 after working at a PostDoctoral Fellow in University of Benraska for 10 years, and he is now the Project Manager for the RAPID research network. Emil has expertise in virulence factors of pathogenic bacteria and bacterial genetics.
