Biography

Gord has a BSc Honours degree in zoology from the U of Guelph in Ontario.  After completing 8 years with Dr. R.E.W. Hancock in the Uof S Dept of Microbiology, Gord joined VIDO where he’s worked as a research technician for 20 years.  He has worked on research projects with Drs. Potter and Napper on research projects related to E coli O157, Salmonella typhimurium and Histophilus somni as well as prion diseases.  Gord's interest include science, nature, animal photography and  environmental stewardship.
