Biography
Jim joined VIDO in late 2005 as Project Manager and is responsible for managing the Genome Canada and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation projects, in addition to others, at VIDO. Prior to VIDO Jim spent 10 years working for private companies in the Innovation Place Research Park closely associated with the University. Through this he gained tremendous experience in molecular biology, protein chemistry/purification as well as running a process development/purification laboratory. Jim is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certification he acheived in June 2010. In his spare time Jim enjoys helping to develop the next generation of coaches by facilitating coaching certification courses.
