Biography

Mingmin has MSc and MD degrees from the School of Public Health, Fudan University in Shanghai, China.  Since 2007, Mingmin has been working on his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at the U of S.  Prior to joining VIDO, Mingmin has worked as a physician, research fellow and associate and laboratory manager in China, North Carolina USA, Ottawa and Saskatoon.  Mingmin’s expertise and interests include molecular microbiology, bacteriology, epidemiology and prevention of infectious diseases and mechanisms of bacterial antibiotic resistance.
