Biography

Originally from Korea, Hyun Mi is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Yan Zhou's lab.  Hyun Mi  holds MSc and PhD degrees in preventive veterinary medicine and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Chungnam National University in Daejon, Korea.   

Prior to joining VIDO-InterVac in Oct, 2009, Hyun Mi worked as a research assistant in the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology and as a junior research scientist in the National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service in the Republic of Korea. 

Hyun Mi's research is focused on the influenza virus.
