Biography

Sunita has a D.V.M. from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the U of Agricultural Sciences  and a M.Sc. in Animal physiology from the Animal and Fisheries Science University, both in Bangalore, India.  Following this, she worked as a research fellow at the Vittal Mallya Scientific Research Organization and Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.  Sunita has expertise in laser capture micro-dissection, real-time PCR, subtractive hybridization, Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry.   She joined VIDO-InterVac in 2009 and is working on her Masters degree under the supervision of Dr. George Mutwiri.
