Biography

Tara was raised in Saskatoon where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Microbiology & Immunology from the U of S in May 2006. Her interest in science and research led her to graduate studies at VIDO and in 2008 she worked as a summer student in Dr. van den Hurk‟s lab. She is now a graduate student under Dr. Sylvia van den Hurk in the department of Public Health in the Vaccinology & Immunotherapeutics Program.
