Biography

Taseen joined VIDO-InterVac in September 2004 as a PhD graduate student under the supervision of Drs. Andrew Potter and Wolfgang Koster working on Salmonella project. Now a post-doctoral fellow, Taseen has undergraduate degress in Biochemistry and Microbiology and has done some teaching in the department of Veterinary Microbiology and Kelsey College. In 2009,Taseen received the Vetoquinol Epidemiology/Food Safety Award awarded through WCVM.Taseen is very passionate about his research and he is also very interested in becoming a Clinical Microbiologist in the future.
