Biography

Wayne joined VIDO in 1995 and has been involved in numerous vaccine projects.  Wayne received his BSc in Biophysics at the University of Saskatchewan in 1971 and a MSc in Biology at the University of Victoria in 1973.  Prior to joining VIDO, Wayne has worked in research laboratories in Australia and Alberta.  Presently Wayne is responsible for providing genomics services to the VIDO group, including mouse genotyping and analyzing viruses in bees.  Wayne's expertise is in PCR, real time PCR, and DNA sequencing.
