Biography

Yurij joined VIDO since 1987 and he is now the Lab Manager/Technican in the Pathogenomics group.  Yurij had a BSc in 1985 and a Master in Veterinary Microbiology in 1994.  Yurij's responsibility is to maintain the day to day operations of a high powered lab facility - including safety, instrument repairs, ordering supplies, service contracts etc..  His expertise in tissue culture, cell mediated immune assay, and flow cytometry are highly valuable to the group.  Angling is Yurij passion when he is not at work, and he is an active participant in his church community of Ss. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.
