Biography

Amit has a Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry from Gujarat Agricultural University and a Masters of Veterinary Science from Anand Agricultural University in India.   

Prior to joining VIDO-InterVac, Amit also worked for 5 years in an  ISO 9001:2008 certified poultry vaccine manufacturing company, in areas of  virus isolation , propagation in specific pathogen-free embryos, tissue culture and lyophilisation.

Amit has special interest in molecular virology, protein -protein interaction, vaccine development and vectored vaccines, and is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Suresh Tikoo.
