Biography

Li Lin has a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Culture from the Ocean University of China, a Masters degree in Biology from the South China Normal University, and a PhD in Biology/Virology from Sun Yatsen University in China and Hamburg University in Germany.  He has also been a post-doctoral fellow at Rice University in Houston TX and Pennsylvania State University in Hershey PA where he completed work on Influenza A and Hepatitis B viruses.

Li has expertise in molecular virology and immunology, and is interested in developing anti-virus strategies  against  important human viruses, such as  hepatitis B virus and influenza A virus. 

Presently Li is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Yan Zhou’s lab and is working on influenza A virus infection and vaccine development.
