Biography

Originally from New York City, Molly has lived in Saskatoon since 2000 and completed a Master of Public Health degree at the U of S in 2011.  Prior to this she worked as a content expert in science education and as a consultant for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency and the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse.

Molly's interest is in infectious disease epidemiology and disease transmission dynamics.  She is currently a PhD student in Epidemiology in the School of Public Health, studying with Jo-Anne Dillon (VIDO) and Cheryl Waldner (WCVM).  Her PhD project focuses on combining molecular and traditional epidemiological techniques to investigate the dynamics of gonorrhea transmission.
