Biography

Pekka grew up near Port Hope, Ontario.  He completed an Honors B.Sc. degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto in 2004 and Ph.D at McGill University in 2010 where he studied protein folding quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum.

Pekka joined VIDO-InterVac in the fall of 2010, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow studying Johne's disease under the supervision of Drs. Scott Napper and Philip Griebel.
