VIDO is pleased to announce that Dr. Paul Hodgson has joined the Senior Management Team as Associate Director of Business Development as of Jan.1, 2006. Prior to joining VIDO, Dr. Hodgson was Project Manager for a $27 million Genome Prairie project aimed at discovering novel ways to protect mammals against infectious disease. He also spent several years working with Newfound Genomics Inc., a clinical genomics company based in Newfoundland, as a business development analyst. Dr. Hodgson received an M.Sc. in Pharmacology from Dalhousie University, a PhD in Immunology from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MBA specializing in Technology Commercialization from the University of Alberta.
