Vaccine development for bacterial diseases of pigs – Streptococcus suis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae

Project Leaders: Andrew Potter, Volker Gerdts

Over the years, VIDO-InterVac has successfully developed and tested vaccines against several common bacterial diseases in pigs, including Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, S. suis, and B. bronchiseptica. This includes the development of disease models and the testing of the immune response to immunization and/or infection.
