Carla Norleen

Associate Program Manager – Veterinary Research Services

Dr. Carla Norleen was raised on a mixed farm near Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. Prior to veterinary school, she completed the Animal Health Technology Diploma at Lakeland College, where she also played competitive volleyball. She worked as an AHT at a mixed animal practice prior to attending undergraduate classes at the University of Saskatchewan. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Upon completion of veterinary school, Dr. Norleen practiced in a small animal clinic, as well as was the part time veterinarian for Poultry Extension. She joined VIDO-InterVac as a Clinical Veterinarian in May 2020.

When not at work, Carla enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and their three dogs.
