What to Expect During the Hiring Process

Process

At VIDO, we're committed to creating a fair, transparent, and positive recruitment experience. While the process may vary depending on the position, most opportunities follow the steps below.

1. Submit Your Application

Apply directly through our online recruitment system by submitting your resume and any additional materials requested in the job posting. Depending on the role, this may include a cover letter, research statement, publications, or references.

2. Application Review

Our hiring team carefully reviews applications to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with the requirements of the position. Due to the volume of applications received, only candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted.

3. Interviews and Assessment

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in one or more interviews. Depending on the role, the selection process may include:

  • Virtual or in-person interviews
  • Technical, scientific, or skills-based assessments
  • Research presentations or seminars
  • Meetings with team members and key stakeholders
  • Final candidates will be asked to provide professional references.
4. Offer, Security Screening and Onboarding

Successful candidates will receive a formal offer of employment. Once an offer is accepted, additional screening, security clearances and facility access requirements will be completed.  Following successful screening , our team will guide new employees through onboarding to help them transition smoothly into their role and become part of the VIDO community.
